Xbox 360: How to transfer .iso games to External HDD on Mac?

Happy Holiday All.

Desperately need help. hehehehe Now sure if this is the right place to post this topic or not.
Just got my Xbox 360 Kinect 2 days ago + 500GB External Hard Disk Drive with 30 games pre-installed/transferred!
So far it’s a killer. Loving it. This is my very very first console game I own since my love for ATTARI! (Yes I am that old already! and yes, it is that sad!) hahaha

Anyway, what annoys me is that - I have downloaded some games myself. After extraction, it turn out to be a .iso file.
Now, how in the world do I them transfer to my HDD?
(I don’t want to have them burned onto a dual layer disk.)

It just seems so weird at the moment cause I haven’t had a clue.
I tried to google it, but I can’t just seems to find any tutorial out of it.
Mainly because I probably still have no idea what are the right keywords to search.

I thought I could just download, open the .iso file and transfer all the content to my HDD.
But that does not seems to be the case.
Once extracted the .iso file - there’s just a few files in it. Where did the rest go?
The size of the .iso file is about 8GB. But once extracted, it only consist about 50mb of files.
hmmmm… ???

Therefore, what should I be looking at?
Third party software? I am using a Mac by the way.
Would appreciate it if you guys can help to shed some light.

Thank you.

By the way, Sorry moderators! I think I multiple post the same topic as this one on the Classified/Gadget section. My bad. I could not find my post and I was hitting on the ‘Back’ keys. Turn out it re-post it for me again and again when I hit the ‘Back’ and ‘Forward’ keys. I want to have them delete. But not sure how I can do that or perhaps I am not entitled make such changes. :frowning: My apology.

Try this for MAC

If im not wrong, u gotta put the ISO file into the HDD directly without extracting.

At least, that’s the way for most platforms.

Dopamineblitz, thanks for the recommendation. Will look into it as soon as I can later on today.

Akiraceo, i was hoping it works that way too. But unfortunately, it does not seems so. In comparing to the games provided by the seller on my HDD, they looks like a simple data folder only. And in the folder of each individual game, it has multiple similar files goes by the name ‘data0000’ to ‘data0050’. Some maybe more. I wasn’t able to identify what the file extension though. :frowning:

So basically, i am sure it is originally extracted from .iso too or directly from the disc. Having games transferred to HDD were actually for backup purposes I think. Hehehe

u using jtag? try downloading ISO2GOD, .god is format for jtag games

I am not sure if it is a Jtag or not. When I startup my Xbox, there is this yellow and blue colour circle ball and the wording ‘Frees***** 3’ writing across it. Can’t remember the exact name at the moment though. Is that Jtag hack?

Hi Infrasonic, ya ya, I think it’s called Freestyle 3. Not sure about if there’s the ‘Dash’ word or not.
