Will c2d e6300 work well with ati 4850?

i have dis ati 4850 vga…
thinking of if it will work well with a c2d e6300 with p45 motherboard and of cos a good psu.
any suggestion?

of course la… powerfull GPU is always better than a proc in terms of gaming…

maybe he wanna ask whether the proc power will bottleneck the full performance of the gc?

I think it would be all right even though it might give lower frame rates in games compare to more expensive processors like the Core2duo E8xxx.

ur e6300 is core 2 duo e6300 or pentium dual core e6300?

If it’s core 2 duo e6300 it will most likely bottleneck ur GC…if it’s a dual core e6300 then d bottleneck issue wud be lower…but for ur case…the cpu is comfirmed to bottleneck ur GC…unless u overclock it!

oooo…okok
Thx for the info guys…better change a proc…haha

c2d is better than dual core .

lol…for starters…this core 2 duo e6300 is OLD (3 yrs old) 2006 Q3 chip…loses both in architecture (65nm Conroe) & clock (1.86GHz) to the new (released 2009 Q2) pentium dual core e6300 (45nm Wolfdale) at 2.80GHz. Thermal spec wise the dual core e6300 has a higher temperature headroom and thus will overclock hell lot better than the core 2 duo e6300…both have 2MB cache…so u do the math…

WHY NOT ???

tai zhi yeh damn rich wait till u guys get ur hand on his rig…i put my hands on his rig jor…damn nice!
