Normally you would celebrate the birth of Jesus by going to Church

Not a PUB!!!

Traditionally, it has always been like this for us:
11:00 p.m.- Midnight Mass
1:30 a.m. - Sleeeeeeeeep!
6:30 a.m.- Get up
8:00 a.m. - Christmas Day Service
10:00 a.m.- Welcoming relatives
12:30 p.m.- Christmas Special Lunch
2:00 p.m. - More visitors
6:30 p.m.- Family Christmas Turkey Dinner
8:00 p.m.- Special Christmas Movie-From ‘A Christmas Carol’ to ‘The Glinch that Stole Christmas’.

Visitors are always welcome to join lunch or dinner and also come at night…

Anyway, birthday of Jesus is just NOT important in Christian Faith. His death and resurrection are what He wants us to remember.

Maybe just because going to PUB or CLUB seen more “classy” than staying at home. It applies to all holiday eves and weekends for all those youngsters

Which pubs in Miri are ‘classy’?

I like to call Miri pubs ‘cancer establishments’ because they have more smoke in them than the latest Californian wildfires.
Combined with binge drinking = 5000% increased risk of cancer

What a strange way to celebrate Christmas :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

In my opinion, people go clubbing on that day because the next day is holiday. That’s all. The club purposely decorate to raise up the atmosphere and to attract more customers. So they aren’t actually celebrating Christmas. They are purely just clubbing as usual and repeating the same thing they do in a club like those normal day.
