Water-slide carnival to take place in September

MIRI: People in and around the city can anticipate two days of splash-tecular fun when a giant inflatable water slide arrives in September.

Event organiser Slide the City Malaysia will be bringing the water slide to Miri for the first time on Sept 15 and 16 at Curtin University Malaysia’s, Frisbee Field.

“There are no water theme parks in Miri so we wish to fulfill children’s dreams through this event. Every child’s face will light up when parents tell them they are going to the neighbourhood playground to slide on the huge slide,” said Leong Delon, founder and CEO of Monkey Theory Sdn Bhd, the organiser of Slide the City Malaysia event.

“A gigantic inflatable slide is all set to entertain visitors who will also experience a carnival atmosphere.

“We want to create happy moments for both adults and children aged seven and above,” he added.
