Vacancy for**Marine Superintendent**


  • Monitor day to day ship’s operation for smooth activities at sea and port without delays and accident
  • Monitor and maintain fleet marine operations status
  • Conduct inspections onboard own fleet of tugs and train Deck crews (including masters) on good seamanship practices
  • Perform accident / incident investigations, propose corrective/preventive actions and present findings
  • Assist in operational readiness of 3rd party chartered vessel (mobilization and demobilization)
  • Attend to suitability surveys prior hire of vessel / barges and rectifications of punch-list items in time
  • Maintaining Safety Management System (SMS) updates with consistent improvement to produce quality, accuracy, adequate and efficient procedures. Provide and develop constructive new ideas
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements by all vessels and raise corrective action when necessary
  • Advise the Operations Managers rules and regulations
  • Liaison with customers on operational Maritime matters, including attending to customer project /safety meetings
  • Advise the operations Manager and management team during annual reviews
  • Make suggestions for improvements and saving within areas of involvement
  • Assist with operational duties as may require from time to time
  • Travel as and when required


  • Good understanding, knowledge and experience of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, Marine Operations.
  • At least 5 years of Sea going experience as Master in General Purposed Boat, Fast Crew Boat, Anchor Handling Tug Supply
  • Maritime practice knowledge is essential particularly in offshore anchor handling / towing/shipping line
  • Possess Shipboard ISM / ISPS code, Marine insurance and Seamanship knowledge
  • Good communication skills particularly in English, Malay
  • Proactive, team worker, hardworking and detailed are essential qualities
