KOTA SAMARAHAN: Twin sisters Nur Eryshazana and Nur Eryshazani Amirulzaki Hassan, 18, hope to continue their undergraduate study in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) after finishing their pre-university programme here.

The Foundation in Physical Science students hoped to take up Mechanical Engineering following the footsteps of their father, an offshore panel operator.

“We’re in different classes for foundation programme. Hopefully, we get to pursue Mechanical Engineering together,” Eryshazana told reporters after the welcoming ceremony yesterday.

“At first, we’re sad to be away from the comforts of home and family, but we trust that with time we would cope,” Eryshazani added. Born in Miri, the twins who were raised in Labuan and went to Sekolah Menengah St Ann Labuan have keen interest in chess.
