Twelve reports so far on controversial facebook page

KUCHING: As of 9.00 pm yesterday, a total of 12 police reports have been lodged against the controversial facebook page ‘Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021’.
Seven reports were lodged in Kuching, three in Miri and one each in Serian and Padawan, said Sarawak Head of Criminal Investigation Department (C ID) SAC Dato Dev Kumar Sree Shanmugan.
He said the police are investigating this case under section 4 (1) of the Sedition Act and section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.
“We are currently tracing the administrator/s of the facebook page ‘Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021’,” he pointed out yesterday when talking to reporters.
