Truck suspension lift / body lift

Just wondering if anyone know what is the highest legal lift for trucks? I am seriously thinking about buying a 7" body lift kit / suspension lift kit and get my vigo lifted. Kinda need it for my offroad trips.

hardcore off roader? 7" lift then u need to install monster tyres also…make it monster truck miri

Yeah… Super Hardcore!!! Want to fit them simex extreme trekkers on.

paranprinze…ur super vigo normally using wut motor oil…share to me some info…

ramkick… nothing special - i use the toyota motor oil

Nice pick-up truck you had there…

ic…very though ride …did water come inside ur car when u drive on the river…i never experience that hard core drive…

is that marco front bumper?

7inch is considered extreme already. in that case u hv to increase the trackwidth too to maintain its center of gravity, esp during corner. better deal with jpj cos i didnt find any exact info regarding height of pickup modification.

Thanks for the advice. I guess i have to find out from JPJ. There are lift kits available from Thailand: http://www.btv4x4.com/btv/ref_toyota.php
I just want to make sure it is legal before making my move.

Nah, i never had any water in my car. You’ve got to be careful with the water level when doing river crossing though. Especially when you don’t have snorkel - if water gets into the air intake, you’re done. One important thing about river crossing with the nowadays auto-lock doors, wind down your window - it’s your only way to get out of the vehicle when you get stucked. I have never knew this until a friend of mine got stuck with his mitsubishi storm while trying to cross flash flood in Lapok - you can see my my windows are all up in the photos - that was just stupid and i’m lucky. The car died down and could not start - the electric powered doors are locked so we end up smashing his windscreen to get him out. So always wind down your windows when doing water crossing.

Yeah, some thought it’s dangerous and all, but i found it to be fun - plus, we don’t have any choice anyway. That’s the only way to get to my beloved village.

I don’t know  to be honest
But looks cool… better than the ARBs of course

hello temabu,

3-4" should be sufficient. the other 1.5-2" you’ll get through the 35-36" tyres u put on. I’ve got a table somewhere…in one of my HDs. The size of tires/height is propotionate to ur engine size and gear ratio settings. Again 2 get max traction output. I dont know that much but i have hardcore friends around for advice  Search for omar le-roy on facebook. Have a look at his car. Supposed to bring him to PaMada last month but it was not ready. He’s using sime centipede 36" Rm960/each and have to order in advance. Ask hilary for some tips but he’s just a salesman handling is another thing. regrds.
