MIRI: Tong Seng Huat Rice Trading Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with hypermarkets and supermarkets, is promoting its ‘newly harvested’ rice until the Chinese New Year in February.

It is collaborating with four participating hypermarkets and supermarkets, namely Boulevard Hypermarkets of Boulevard shopping complex and the Imperial Mall, Emart as well as New World Mart in Lutong.

There will be lucky draws where five winners will be selected from every participating supermarket during the promotional period.

Each winner will receive one elegant wooden rice storage container and a 10-kg bag of Butterfly brand fragrant rice.

During this period, the 10-kg Butterfly fragrant rice will have a new festive packaging with free angpow packets in two attractive designs.

Other brands of rice, Mr Thai, ‘Bunga Matahari’ and Royal Chrysanthemum, will also see a refreshing festive packaging with either free angpow or stainless steel spoon.

The newly harvested rice comes from north-eastern Thailand where harvesting is only held in November every year.

It is soft, fresh and fragrant and requires less water when cooking.
