The End of the Age

29 Immediately after the distress of those days

the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Matthew 24:29 (The Bible, NIV)

Meaning?

Meaning Matthew is wrong! And the bible is wrong too! :mrgreen:

It’s Friday. He party early.

Meaning there won’t be light,just darkness.
Without the sun giving it’s light,the moon will not be visible,total darkness.
The weather will be cold,
Meteors will fall from the sky,
And when the meteors hit earth,there will be lots of earthquake.

can watchman at least gives explanation… -.-

“Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.” - Matthew 24: 40

The meaning can be largely self interpreted…

[quote=“Watchman”]29 Immediately after the distress of those days

the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

I do hope people do not mistaken 'heavenly bodies" as hot women.

Must be closely connected with those end of days prophecies, perhaps?

I believe the Bible. People are turning away from God and we will be punished for it. We humans will suffer for our sins. Believe in God and serve Him and you will be saved.
I’m not mental or taking any weed :mrgreen: . I’m a God fearing man.

<< Isaiah 17 >>

An oracle concerning Damascus:

See, Damascus will no longer be a city
but will become a heap of ruins.
2The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,
with no one to make them afraid.
3The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
and royal power from Damascus;
the remnant of Aram will be
like the glory of the Israelites,

Damascus, to fall soon?

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
… always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
