'the day after tomorrow'

the day after tomorrow,
or more accurately…
yesterday’s last night!

is currently wee bit windy in Miri
& weather maps show a very nice eye…

Better cross finger and hope that eye doesn’t make an U-turn back to South China Sea… :expressionless: :expressionless:

i think the water is still a bit cool yet.
magic figure of 27c+ is needed to bring in the bad winds?

it seems that even Myannmar/Burma is getting affected again,
by this cell.

We just got affected again yesterday evening. Let’s pray it wont happen again :frowning: Did anyone fly away from esplande?

That I dun knw, but some of the trees around town and airport road sure flew away from the original place…

What just happened in the past two days serves as a WARNING to all of us. Climate change is man-made or man caused. On mother’s day yesterday, mother-nature gave us Mirians a warning, a warning that if we continue to ignore her, she will eventually show us her true colors. We Mirians enjoys a blissful and peaceful life, many of us still mull over how much we make a month, what car we drive, what house we live in, what brand of handphone we use, even deciding what to eat everyday is a task. Although each and everyone of us has the rights to choose and decide how we live but we MUST remember that we do not have all the rights. Including the rights to cause much damage to the environment which results in changes in the weather.

However, there is one rights that we hold solely which we can do to save and care for our mother earth and to save guard our livelihoods and existence on this land and to ensure our future generations continues to reap from this land. That rights is the rights to protect our environment, to conserve energy and resources, to recycle and reuse anything and everything which we come in contact with, to live a simpler life, to be a vegetarian.

Like all of us, we are born under our mothers care. Mother earth cares for her children living in the City of Miri. If all of us truly thinks that our mothers are well love and care for during this Mothers Day then please consider our Mother Earth also. She (mom & mother earth) is the only one we have and we should all cherish the moments shared with her.

Begin celebrating mothers day by caring for her. How we care for our mom is how we should care for our mother earth.

Happy Mothers Day

Thank you.

fren do something pls. apparently, the northern Philippines will be hit

the french mathematician ‘Mandelbro’ (?) came out with the equation for ‘science of chaos’,
in which chaos is actually set within ‘defined’ parameters…
the ‘butterfly effect’ … where d butterfly creating wind fluctuations can result in hurricane/typhoon on d next continent,
was a result of this equation.

need to get the insect spray out?

From what I see on the picture, Is that a tornado on the ocean ? I hope Philipines is safe =X

Isn’t that what Mother Earth is doing right now?

satellite pics shown, were from last weekend’s Super Typhoon, which peaked Sunday p.m., & quickly died out in cold water.

Sad to say though, Philippines has a Severe Tropical Storm warning, to hit the Northern Peninsula, expected late tomorrow/Saturday.
depression currently sitting North of Miri is expected to intensify & head North East.
will be a blustery weekend everywhere…
best get some liquid supplies in baham

a nice satellite pic from earlier today,
