Core Responsibilities

Support, supervise and assist offshore management team in operation of the units.

Support timely and professional performance of the preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs.

Area of responsibility covers all designated units.
Duties -
The Hull and machinery;
-
The correct operation of the installations on units in corporation with Process Superintendents;
-
Developing, implementing and maintaining our HSEQ System for the unit installations in cooperation with the HSEQ Department;
-
Taking part in Emergency Response Team as required.

Monitoring safe and efficient operation of units;
-
Monitoring and issuing routines and procedures for operation of the units;
-
Inspecting the units with regular intervals and preparing inspection reports after each visit;
-
Monitoring a safe and efficient operation of mooring, towing system and related machineries;
-
Coordination and planning of the installations maintenance;
-
Coordinating plans and forecast for main overhauls, repairs, requirements for vital spares and service;
-
Cooperating and liaising with the units Operation Manager;
-
Monitoring the offshore plants and ensuring they are properly crewed with suitable personnel;
-
Acting as a consultant to the Crewing Department in selection, appointment, education and training of unit’s crew;
-
Coordinating with all relevant Sub Contracting Companies;
-
Assisting in new projects and modification of existing equipment;
-
Providing input to annual budget;
-
Ensuring compliance with the HSEQ System;
-
Performing risk assessments as required;
-
Inspections of units to verify that they are maintained to Company’s Standard;
-
Monitoring the status of the CMMS (IFS) and providing input regarding potential system improvements;
-
Assisting the Operations Manager.
HSE Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for maintaining a high degree of awareness;
-
Lead by doing; setting an example for others.
-
Observe and report any unsafe activities, conditions or situations.
Requirements: -
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Master’s Degree in Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Mechanical) , relevant Technical education or equivalent.

Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.

Held previous position as Technical Superintendent.

Experience as Master or Chief Engineer on ocean going vessels and/or FSO/FPSO or equivalent.

Must possess leadership qualities needed to support large, complex organizations.

Excellent command in English, written and spoken.
-
The position will be based in Miri, Sarawak, must be willing to travel and stationed at the different locations followed the shipyard vessel as instructed by Operation Manager.
