Student council holds ‘Ramei-Ramei 2017 Cultural Day’

Students from Korea and Vietnam are seen at their food stall.

MIRI: Fajar International College’s student council held the two-day ‘Ramei-Ramei 2017 Cultural Day’ recently for staff and students.

Themed ‘Unity in Cultural Diversity’, the programme included games, music, and dances performed by different ethnic groups.

There were also food stalls selling different types of traditional delicacies, including local favourites and rare items like Bario pineapples, as well as Korean and Vietnamese dishes.

The objective of the Cultural Day was to promote inter-cultural understanding among students.

It also provided organising committee members with the opportunity to improve their leadership and communication skills.
