Job Responsiblities:

Sales Development

  • To achieve sales expectations key

  • To drive retail KPI’s ensuring the store goals are achieved

  • To plan and organise the store ensuring efficiency and productivity of customer first mindset

  • To ensure the control of all store staffing costs within budgeted parameters

  • To ensure all sales targets are communicated effectively to store sales team

  • Analyse all key data; devise measures to increase sales and implement such measures

  • To manage expenses in either controllable cost areas (i.e. separate CS Ops & VM)

Customer Service and Visual Merchandising

  • Create a culture of customer service according to the corporate standards, ensuring the best possible customer experience

  • Responsible for optimal visual merchandising ensuring the companies visual direction is executed in-store to the highest possible standards

  • To ensure the best possible housekeeping standards are maintained

  • To consult and work with regional and visual management when adapting visual directives in order to drive business

  • Focus on excellent store management and operations to ensure and improve customer experience

  • To ensure the in-store promotion of the company customer loyalty programme

Operations & Service Culture

  • Execute active merchandise management (e.g. new merchandise, best sellers, markdowns, NOOS)

  • Ensure merchandise availability and refill standards on the sales floor

  • Identify and communicate product concerns or requirements in a timely manner

  • Responsibility for loss prevention and planning of annual store stock inventory. Achieving store shrinkage goal, whilst ensuring loss issues are communicated to regional management and investigated and resolved

  • To communicate store maintenance issues to Area Manager in a timely manner

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained within the store and report any issues to regional management in a timely manner

  • Management of customer returns process

  • To ensure that all store operating manuals and are followed and executed

  • Responsible for cash management processes according to the corporate guidelines

  • Responsible for compliance with corporate cash security guidelines

  • Ensure training and development guidelines are met

  • Ensure succession planning and manpower management such as recruitment & selection, talent retention

  • Ensure stock control and security preventives

Team leadership

  • Lead the recruitment process for front line staff and work together with HR department , to successfully close the vacant positions in the store.

  • Conduct on the job training and give proper knowledge and lead the floor staff in achieving sales target.

  • Conduct staff appraisal and quarterly performance review.

  • Provide specific development for Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor by assigning accountabilities and training with consistent follow-up and feedback.

  • Improve staff morale leading to positive and dynamic working attitude

Reporting

  • Ensure the appropriate daily or weekly and monthly reports submission are delivered on time.

  • Any ad hoc reports and request by the Management.
    Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma and/or equivalent in Retail/ Business/ Tourism and Services Studies

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in Service Industry preferably Retail, F&B, Hospitality and Tourism

  • Strong in managing sales floor operations (not limited to Store Efficiency, P&L, Manpower Planning and Cost Control, Reporting - Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Sales and Customer Service Driven Individual with Business Acumen

  • Outgoing personality and high adaptability to changes

  • Love Fashion Retail and enjoy working in a People Environment

  • Fast Learner and Team Player
