As a SM, it’s not about being the big boss – it’s about earning the respect of others, where you motivate and inspire your team to achieve the best results. You are entrepreneurial and hungry for success, constantly on the lookout for opportunities to maximize selling. You work actively with your profit & loss reports and set sales goals, strategies and budgets to optimize profits for the store. You understand the importance of customer service and act as a role model to the team in ensuring excellent customer service delivery within the store. You also take charge of the succession planning in the recruitment and the development of their team. The SM also ensures that the store is operating at a high level of standard and efficiency.
