Anyone having problem with streamyx in Krokop area? Mine was down last 2 days and speed is very slow since last night.

Relaxjack, there has been some slowdown with the streaming videos. Don’t know if gaming is affected (I’m stuck playing Fallout 3 :mrgreen: ).

i am in krokop and town area and yes internet speed the suckiest i ever had. i usually calls the ISP every two to three months to change my port when i notice speed slowing down. i always tells them to canned the standard procedure and just change the port as i considered myself expert in IT. normally i get speed of around 0.8 mbps upload and download now my speed is download 0.22kbps and upload 0.24 kbps. any youtube video will take 20 minutes to fully run. even mcnet takes forever to opens up.
posting misery in mcnet does not help as only the police is monitoring it.(ask Eugene) but it does help in sharing the miseries and lightening the load.
i have been ‘tui ing’ Telekom Miri for close to 10 years now. my hair is now grey. i heard they now has 4mbps package. source inside there tells me save your money just stick with 1 mbps package. you pay more you still get less than 0.5mbps on a good day.
is things going to change in the near future? i doubts it.
so what to do? just accept things as they are or if it becomes unbearable go do repetitive head strength test on the nearest wall.
oh yeah sometimes i cursed under my breath that ananda krishnan and his empty promise of internet access thru Astro. till now habuk pun tarak.

from xun lei…download speed = 0kbps(wtf)
from firefox . download speed = 10 or below kbps

complain to streamyx… call 100… my internet used to not be able to reach 80… if can reach 60kb u should be happy liao… but after complain… my speed reach 320 max…

Try different IP … for me best is 175.145… range… other than that usually very slow connection
the problem is mine seems to stuck with 60.52.XX no matter how many time i reboot my modem.
Aww… too bad bro… that ip is the worse for me too… 
that ip is the best for me… i got the 115 and its slower…
Maybe depend on locations…weird screamyx :evil:
