Seven masseurs escape unhurt after health centre catches fire

MIRI: Seven female masseurs and their pet dog escaped unharmed after fire swept through the third floor of a health centre in Tabuan Jaya commercial centre in Kuching City.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department in its latest report said a Bomba team rushed to the scene after receiving an alert of the incident which happened at 6.30am on Thursday.

It was reported that the fire had razed the third floor of the shoplot which also served as the living quarters of the masseurs, who are all Chinese nationals.

The fire was completely doused an hour later.

Bomba Sarawak said the cause of the fire is being investigated.
