MIRI: Sejiwa Senada 2016 programme is the second of its kind being held in Miri after its inaugural one in 2011. “ This year’s programme is made bigger than before because our area is growing and therefore more people are around and we have made this programme bigger so more people can come and the government can show more services being provided to the people,” said Sarawak State Secretary, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Ghani at the RTM radio station booth yesterday.
About 134 booths comprising goverment agencies and non goverment ones took part. Morshidi also thanked the government agencies that had set up booths for their range of services to people. He lauded their hard work and advised them to ensure their stalls were ready for the launch to be done today.
He also hoped that all would listen and focus to the good progress to be conveyed by the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem. Furthermore, he targetted that no less than 30,000 people would be coming to support the programme to be held starting today. In addition, he also stated that this programme would also be held at Sibu, Mukah , Sarikei , Saratok and Kapit starting next week through to March.
