Say NO! / Katakan TAK NAK! 2 PETRONAS

Now the petrol price hit RM 2.70 a litre and it might go higher!! Want petrol prices to come down?

We need to take some intelligent, united action. The oil companies just laughed at last year’s action because they knew we would not continue to ‘hurt’ ourselves by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can really work.
Please read on and join with us!

By now, you’re probably thinking petrol priced at about $1.50 is cheap.
It is currently RM2.70 for regular unleaded.

Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a liter of gas is CHEAP at $1.50, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace…not sellers.

With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we consumers need to take action.

The only way we are going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their petrol! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.

How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can’t just stop buying petrol.

But we CAN have an impact on petrol prices if we all act together to force a price war.

Here’s the idea: For the rest of this year, DON’T purchase ANY petrol from Petronas
the biggest price-up driver company.

If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.

But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Petronas petrol buyers. It’s SO simple!
Now, don’t wimp out on me at this point…keep reading and I’ll explain how simple it is to reach millions and even BILLIONS of people!!

I am sending this note to 20 people.
If each of you sends it on to at least twenty more that’s (20 x 20 = 400) …
And those 400 send it to at least twenty more (400 x 20 = 8000 … and so on,
by the time the message reaches the fifth group of people, we will have reached over SIXTY FOUR MILLION consumers!!!
20x20 = 400
400x20 = 8,000
8,000x20 = 160,000
160,000x20 = 3,200,000
3,200,000x20 = 64,000,000
64,000,000x20 = 12,800,000,000
That’s 12.80 Billion people folks, who will have been contacted!!!

Unbelievable?? Do the math and see for yourself!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 20 people. That’s all!
I’ll bet you didn’t think we had that much potential, did you!
Acting together we can make a difference…

If this message makes sense to you, then please pass it on.

It’s simple send the message along to others and choose to not buy petrol from Petronas.

Now THAT’s people power.

JUST DO IT ! ! !
More power to you friend.

P/S: Post the same thread to any other forum or copy and paste this and send via email so the words spread faster. Thanks

birds of the same feather, and brain size, flock together… in

some said shell n other big oil companies r manipulating d price.
now wan2 boycott petronas…
where 2 buy petrol then??

aiya,.u buy fuel from other petrol station like shell oso same lar…end up most of the money oso go petronas…haha…it doesnt make a lot of difference la…

but at shell… dont let those petronas station get out money. so they can complaint to supplier (I dont know who) and those supplier can complain to PETRONAS and later on petronas will complain to government so that way govenment know that we’re hurt so much. Those menteri they dont give a ■■■■ as they have this allowance and that allowance.

we have our own resourse… so why should we follow world market? it’s simple, so those government & petronas can get more profit ! and we? how about us?

do you think shell station owner will share his/her profit with petronas station owner too if all consumers buy at shell? I dont think so.
so, this is our STEP BY STEP movement… 1st, get let petronas station owner suffer, so they will complain to supplier (obviously petronas) that they dont want to put petronas logo anymore to their station, so then petronas complaint to goverment that rakyat dont want to buy petrol CAP PETRONAS anymore. from there, hope we can wake those goverment who suppose to protect us (as we are the one who choose them to stand for us)

anyway wickedghose,

isnt there already another topic about this? … 61#p112561

pls ppl, search the forum first to avoid multiple topics of the same topic. Not to mention that its also an email which has been circulating since 2001

Many of us don’t understand the concept of this petrol. You shud know that all oil sale at either Shell, Exxon, Mobile station belongs to Petronas under the Partner Sharing Contract. Only that Petronas get 35% of the total sale. If you were to buy petrol from Shell station, will it cost you less? We Malaysians do not understand the economics of oil and start blaming the government and Petronas. And then trying to compare our petrol price with Saudi or Brunei. No doubt the price of petrol in Saudi is roughly 0.16sens per litre or Brunei 1.20 per litre ( last month ) but we shud look at the volume of oil ( Barrels per day )

  1. Malaysia produces 700,000 bl per day @ price US$130 = US$92million
    Our population : 28million
Daily ratio :US$3 per person (US$92million/28 million )

  2. Saudi produces 9.2million bl per day @ price US$130 = US$1196million
    Population : 25million
    Daily ratio :US$48 per person
We see Saudi population is almost like Malaysia, and we can see how much money they earn every day from oil. Of course the government can provide them with very cheap petrol, no income tax, no road tax, unemployment benefit, etc.

  3. Brunei produces 240,000 bl per day @ price US$130 = US$31million
    Population : 380,000
    Daily ratio : US$81per person

rockfella, thank you for coming out from the closet…!

i wonder how many more of us are there here in

perhaps the thread starter can add another option to the poll: i think most people here are too stupid to make the right choice.

Boycotting the national petroleum company is just unrealistic at best. As already highlighted by coconutice. Therefore I cant cast my vote on this thread.

Agree Apai…
