KUCHING: Sarawak’s Pride – The Most Number of Unity Short Stories Project showcase in Bintulu has been cancelled due to logistic difficulties.
The showcase will be in Miri from Oct 3 to 7 at Curtin University and Oct 11 to 13 at Miri Civil Centre.
The project was initiated by Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak and Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) on Feb 12 to collect the most number of short stories to show the spirit of unity and pride in Sarawak.
The showcase which displays stories submitted by members of the public was launched in Kuching on Aug 3 before travelling to Sarikei from August 30 to Sept 9 and Sibu.
The organisers are calling on members of the public to submit more short stories on unity to achieve the target of 1,000 stories for Malaysia Book of Records.
Some of the published short stories on unity will be available on YPS’ website soon.
Stories can be submitted by e-mail to sarawakpride@gmail.com, or by filling up an online form at www.yps.org.my/sarawakpride.
Alternatively, submit to SDI through WhatsApp at 013-671 8063.
Updates on this project is available on its website and social media (Facebook and Instagram) with #sarawakpride hashtag.
