Ever wonder why there r road resurfacing here & there around Miri lately ??? Is this how BN ( Barang Naik ) trying to ‘bribe’ Miri voters with state election round the corners ? Remember ’ U Help Me ,I Help U ’ slogan from our BN ministers …
aiyah…why you a$k like that. $arawak baru $trike lottery a$ announced on Monday. Now plenty of money including intere$t coming in from Kay El to do what $hould have been done on regular basis. Erection time lah!
Rather than nothing?
lol. Be happy with whats going on now. but STILL dont kenak tipu lar. 5 yrs bikin jalan satu kali mana cukup wor? BUATLAH PILIHAN YANG BIJAK!
well…roads at my house area still not fix…
Taman Tunku too… no development signage, unlike Senadin area, Some area behind morsjaya… The one’s I noticed the signage have been out there for almost a year I think.
Mirian will consider buying “keta kebal”,stim roll, etc. if the roads getting worst
where got resurface just regular patch here and there. later ask reporter ambil photo with those YB .
Besides road, what else good should be done?
the roads should be maintained regularly+periodically, not only when there’s election coming.
i think we should cut short the election period from years to months … like every 3 month one election so by a few years all our road will be fixed if that is the case. = ) …
then more tax money will be spent.
for the past 2 decades, all the extra bitumen/premix was probably stored in white hair’s warehouse.
You just wait and see… just after the election the road surface itself will suddenly back to usual state
You just wait and see… just after the election the road surface itself will suddenly back to usual state  Reason can be simple. The foundational has not done properly at the very first place and adapt the very old technology in road surfacing.
be patient … the road construction is on the plan of miri development
why??
so that they can clear 100% the budget and scoundrel some % into their pocket, they might not have the chance to do it again if opposition wins…
i realised that too!!!
I’m a daily user of the road from bumiko–town.Usually the sink nearby the junction turning into Lopeng/Hospital area will get repaired ONLY after the road side starts collapsing (~82% ruined). and the repairing works will take dayS to finish.
it surprised me this morning when the road was being repaired just OVER the night! and, the condition of the road was just about 35% ruined before it was being repaired.
this is bolehland ma… watever can happen de!!
Juz take the road as an example…
Once ruined, they repaired.
After repaired, they get paid.
Then ruined again, they repaired.
After that, they get paid again.
If they don’t repair, you complaint,
After you complaint, they repaired,
Repaired, then get paid la… wat else…
this is the cycle of money flow…

Somehow true
cannot deny tat they will using the tricks like fixing the road surface to attract the attention of the resident, but yet during normal period of time (what i mean is non election period) they might be helping others ppl behind without voice up. We cant see the things from the dark side and yet forget the good side which they contributed…at least for me…correct me if i am wrong…
