Please recommend furniture shop in Miri....thanksssss

I’ve just moved to Miri, finding some furniture to my house. Miri expert!!! Please recommend me a furniture shop, thankssss. :slight_smile:

I’ve just visited Sin Shieng Hai. Any good furniture shop else?

There are a few teak wood furniture store…

Try the one in Seberkas area… and one in Central Point… both selling Teak furniture… O…yes… Lorenzo is somewhere around the central point area too…

Welcome kyutaro to MC.net and Miri. Hope u will enjoy ur stay here. Can also try New century furniture, just next to Gloria Hotel (town area). Or merbau furniture, at Taman Tunku (might be a far from town).

May I ask more… as I’m too new to the place. What are the landmark of Seberkas area and Taman Tunku?

Saberkas land mark…it is the one opposite Sesco building if coming down from Pujut. If coming from town it is where the old roundabout (now they are in the midst of building flyover bridge). Left hand side, bunch of shop houses.

Taman Tunku…go straight from the traffic light . at the airport junction…(turn left is to the airport). U will see another traffic light, turn left and u will get to taman tunku. If u have local fren or colleague, better let them take you…cause 1st time for you.

I happened to be looking for some new furniture myself these past few weeks.
I recommend just going everywhere as you never know what hidden gem you’ll find in different places.

if you have unlimited fund and are into natural type of furniture, you could try Home Deco at Saberkas or Artisan Gallery at Center Point Phase 1.

Errr…you want cheap furniture or luxury furniture??

Cheap : Go to Merbau Furniture(Taman Tunku) or Add Sen(Taman Tunku)…ya both of them at taman tunku.a little bit waste of fuel if you live at the north of Miri…Don’t know where is taman tunku?? You drive straight pass the airport traffic junction to the next traffic junction…Then turn right into the Taman Tunku…Go straight in till you see Servay Supermarket shop and you might can stop there to ask for direction from the local residents or the staff working there…Both of the furniture shops are very near by

Expensive : Can try Lorenzo, Sin Shang Hai or Sistem Home Concept(at the shophouses near Hill-Top Garden…) and don’t forget Courts(Near Boulevard Shopping Complex)

I buy mine from Lorenzo and their furniture are reallllly good. Puas hati even though i have to pay extra. The sale lady was very friendly (karen)…
