MIRI: Two plantation workers were arrested on Saturday night (June 16) over the rape of an eight-year-old girl, said Miri police chief Asst Comm Lim Meng Seah.
ACP Lim said the two men are foreigners aged 57 and 62, adding that they were arrested at a plantation along the Miri-Bintulu highway.
“They have been remanded for seven days to assist with the investigation,” he said.
ACP Lim added that the Year 2 girl told her teacher that she was raped by the duo when she was alone in her house.
The teacher then alerted her mother, who lodged the police report.
