Which part if NZ? Was in Hamilton few years back…

nothing wrong with that. places of worship are always beautiful and serene somehow, no matter what faith they represent.
was at NZ a few years ago, before coming back to malaysia, i did some backpacking down south, my favorite is lake tekapo, stayed at the yha…looking at your photos sure brings back good ol memories. is the japanese restaurant still there?

yeah! the japanese restaurant is still there. It is a wonderful place to dine… good food and good view. And it’s cheaper compared to Miri price!!

Wow…that is truly amazing pictures. Been in north Island of NZ for 2 years. Especially the view at Lake Taupo which is breathtaking… :slight_smile:

…had the best salmon don ever. the restaurant breeds fresh water salmon. and it was a good price, lots of thick slices of salmon meat and we can have refills of rice…good deal for economical backpackers.

didn’t know they breed their salmon but the Salmon don is definitely top of the class
