Just wish to share with you guys something I know.
After I read the description from JPA web, what I want to say is when we say “accredited”, it means accredited for “memenuhi keperluan tertentu dalam perkhidmatan awam”. (http://www.jpa.gov.my/layak.asp).
Here we go!
First, go to the oversea universities qualification recognition online search website (http://www.interactive.jpa.gov.my/frmmainiktiraf.asp) .
Notes: Please remember not to use Mozilla’s Firefox to surf this web or you can not use the search function to find what you want. Just use the conventional Internet Explorer(IE) is enough.
Secondly, I rather use a real case to explain:
According to Mr. Chin, his daughter is going to take chemical engineering course in one of the Thailand universities.
So I select:
Bidang / Field of study : Kejuruteraan Kimia/Chemical Engineering
Negara / Country : Thailand
Institusi:Any
and click Cari/Search.
This is what I found, only 1 Thailand university's chemical engineering course is accredited:CHULALONGKORN UNIVERSITY
Bidang / Field of Study: KEJURUTERAAN KIMIA / CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
Negara / Country : THAILAND
Institusi / Institution : CHULALONGKORN UNIV.,THAILAND
Kelayakan / Qualification : Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Kimia
Mod / Mode : Sepenuh Masa (Full Time)
Nilai Taraf / Equivalent : Setaraf dengan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan dari Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam Tempatan. (Equivalent to Bachelor of Engineering from Public Institution of Higher Learning)
