[Need Help] Voter registration issue

I went directly to Resident Office Miri for voter registration on 26 April 2011. However, when I checked my registration status on SPR website just now, there is no record of my registration at all.

Strangely, two of my sisters who went to register as voters somewhere around a church have their information on SPR website. They registered on June 2011.

Any suggestion on what I should do other than going to the useless Resident Office to complain?

Contact SPR S’wk. Email them the copy of registration form. If all else fail, go to DAP office.

i will register at JPN Miri…

i also register around April early this year… juz got the status as ‘Registered’ few days ago… i do check from time to time…

I sent my complaint through the ‘feedback’ section on SPR website, but so far, there is no respond from them at all.

I will keep note on relaxjack’s information if this issue is still not resolved by end of next week.

it is your constitutional right to vote

bring to the attention of the Federal High Court and Bukit Aman

they will get the job done

Federal High Court and Bukit Aman…=/_=…I rather not to make a mountain out of molehill.

Here my scan of registration to proof that I did register on 26-4-2011. Need to censor a bit though, dont wanna reveal too much personal information.

From thestar, “However, they are required to keep a copy for themselves before submitting the downloaded form to the EC voter registration counter.”

So, what the difference between the form I filled directly at Resident Office Miri and form downloaded from SPR website? It seem to be same as form as i posted just now.

Update: I received the following reply from SPR site on 5 December 2011.

Sekian, terima kasih.

Then, on the same day, I replied back with the required information together with my scan of registration form and got some sort of error:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:
DNS Error: Domain name not found

Therefore, I checked the CC of the e-mail and discover another address to mail back which was  xxxxxx@spr.gov.my.
Thus, I managed to reply back properly. SPR should just fired off their I.T. people.

Today, I received another e-mail:

Sekian, terima kasih. Dijawab oleh xxxxxxx

Update on my issue.
Apparently…SPR sure has many servers which I think is not in sync with each other. (Took me a while to check those domain)

http://daftarj5.spr.gov.my/DaftarjBI.aspx this is the server which has my registration info.
http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/ meanwhile, SPR primary server at its front page doesnt have my info.

So, I hope this information can help those whom I.C. no. might be missing aka ‘record not found’ when using the primary SPR server.
