My Old Town (Miri 1999~2000) Updated

I was around Miri during 1999 to 2000. When bored, I brought my first digital camera, an Olympus C-400L, to snap around the town.
The image quality is rather bad compare to todays standard, but that was then… :lol:

Jan 22, 1999: Miri Waterfront. I took this from an empty shoplot when nobody was around. :oops: You probably notice that the land is still
connected on what is now the new river mouth. How much has changed since then?:roll:

Yes. (2) was done by Ulead Cool 360 back in '99. (1) was done by Photoshop CS this afternoon. :lol:

nice shot…i really love all the photo…especially the Grand Old Lady…standing alone on top of the hill, looking into miri town and the symbol of growth of miri town…but now, i think the museum had somehow over shadow the historical value of the structure…for me, it lose the sense of history as it was surrounded by the modern structure around it…
