MIRI: There is an urgent need to address the mismatch between the choice of courses in tertiary education and the type of career opportunities in a particular locality to reduce unemployment in parts of Sarawak.
Samalaju assemblyman Majang Renggi said educational training for school-leavers was needed.
He said there must be a balance in emphasising on technical and vocational training as well as professional courses and management and administrative courses.
