Miri Orchestra and Choir Society (MOC) is a non-profit musical organization, established since 1998.
Today MOC is recognized as a major player in the music scene in Miri in keeping with its core objectives of promoting music and raising the standards of music amongst its members and the community. For its young members, MOC offers a healthy and constructive alternative to meet, learn, appreciate, acquire and practise their musical talents. MOC provides a platform to discovering or developing hidden musical musical abilities.
Membership is open to everyone living in Miri city who loves music. MOC members are from all walks of life from young students to professionals and retirees (age ranging from 11 to 65 years old).
The membership fee for student is RM5/ month and RM10/ month for adult. We welcome everyone who loves music.
Routine practice:
Orchestra - Every Sunday 2:30 - 4:30pm
Choir - Every Thursday 7:30 - 9:30pm ; Every Sunday 4:30 - 6:30pm
