Ministry sets up operation rooms to handle GST complaints

SIBU: The public can lodge a complaint with the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry office (KPDNKK) in their respective areas on matters related to the goods and services tax.

GST is zero-rated effective June 1 and those who think prices have not gone down should forward their complaints to the ministry and not only air their grievances via social media.

However, they must produce a receipt when lodging a complaint.

Sarawak KPNDKKK in a press statement said the ministry has activated operation rooms to receive complaints from the public.

The operation room in Kuching is open daily from 8am to 10pm while for other places, the hours are from 8am to 6pm.

Consumers can also forward their complaints online at the ministry’s portal.
