MIRI: A man survived electrical shock on Wednesday night at a kitchen of a budget hotel in Lutong.

The man in his 20s had just worked at the hotel for about two months.

In the 8pm incident, the man was opening the door of a refrigerator when electrical current pass through him, causing him to fall to the ground.

He was immediately taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two Indonesians were arrested during a raid on an estate somewhere in Batu Niah yesterday morning for having no valid documentations.

Both are currently detained at Miri Central Police Station (CPS).

The raid was conducted around 10am.
