Lt Colonel Zamri leaves 20th RAMD, Hishamudin takes over as commanding officer

MIRI: Lieutenant Colonel Hishamudin Mostafa is the new commanding officer of the 20th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (20th RAMD) in Miri, taking over from Lt Colonel Zamri Othman yesterday.
Lt. Colonel Zainuddin, who had been serving with the regiment for almost two years, will report for duty at the Headquarters of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur on 21 December.
Speaking to reporters at the handing over of duties at Camp Sri, Miri, he said a total of three operations had been carried out in Sabah with the 20th RAMD during his tenure.
He also said with Hishamudin’s experience and knowledge he believed his successor would be able to lead and bring regiment to another level and help to safeguard the sovereignty of the nation.
