Limbang Night Run attracts over 1,000

LIMBANG: More than one thousand participants from Limbang, Lawas, Miri, Bintulu, Federal Territory of Labuan, Sabah and Brunei partook in the Limbang Night Run in conjunction with New Year Eve in Limbang district.
The event which started at 7.30pm was very lively with several interesting programmes organised for the public.
This Third Edition of night run showed a significant increase compared to the previous year after receiving encouraging response from runners outside Limbang.
Organised by Bukit Mas parliamentary constituency, Limbang Runners Club the event was held in collaboration with Limbang Resident’s Office
According to the organiser Chua Eng Hin, this Night run event had been held since 2014 and the response to this event has continued to grow every year.
There are two categories in this Night run which are 3.5km and 10km run. All participants received medals in the form of buffalo replica which is Limbang icon and other interesting prizes.
Also present at the event were Limbang Resident Datu Maria Hasman and Walikota Cr. Suffian Mohat.
