Lights out for Earth

MIRI: Construction development company Interhill managed to save 330,000W of electricity by switching off for a day in conjunction with Earth Hour.

“It’s a yearly effort for our company to participate in Earth Hour as we always encourage making efforts to help make the earth a better place for everyone,” said marketing communications executive Grace Chia.

Interhill employees embraced the darkness in the building by staying back after work and gathered at the office lobby with lighted candles after turning off all non-essential lights. — DAPHNE JOLLY / The Star
