But before that, we have another place to pay a visit to a bridge- Gwangan Bridge ().
Gwangan Bridge(Diamond Bridge) is the first cross-sea duplex bridge in Korea, established for Busan to secure the function of the international port city and the coastal and circular network of roads. The bridge is loved as a representative landmark of Busan as state-of-the-art lighting varies with over one hundred thousand kinds of colors, harmonizing the surrounding coastal scenery.
After a few hours nap, finally we arrived Gyeongju. First we went to Yongdusan Park ().
Yongdusanpark, which harmonizes Busan Tower and 70 different species of trees,is considered a favorite resting place among the citizens of Busan. Itis called Yongdusan because the shape of the mountain looks like thehead of a dragon that climbs to land from sea.
After lunch, we went to Bulguk-sa ().
Originallybuilt in 528, Bulguk-sa provides an excellent example of architecturefrom the Shilla Dynasty. Literally meaning “Buddha Land,” it remainedintact for more than 1,000 years before the Japanese destroyed it in1593. Only a few of the buildings were rebuilt until the 1970s when itwas completely reconstructed.UNESCO recognized it as an internationalcultural property in 1995.
