MIRI: The Miri Photography Society (MPS) will showcase some 1,000 photos of Miri’s beautiful scenery at the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF).
The festival will be held at Viva Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 23-25 from 11.15am to 11.45pm.
Society president Sylvester Wong said it would be an opportunity to introduce Miri and its beautiful places to Peninsular Malaysians.
“Our main intention of showing these photos is to give audiences a clearer picture of what Miri truly is, and the different faces the oil town has to offer to visitors,” he said.
Wong added he will also share info on the fascinating places and the experience of photographers during the festival.
Last year, the society held an International Tourism Photography Competition, which attracted 30 photographers and members of the media from Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia participate.
