MIRI: The business of applying and renewing of international and limited Brunei passports at the Immigration Department of Malaysia can be done at the Miri Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) from March 21.
Miri Immigration Department of Malaysia chief, Roy G. Fender said seven counters would be opened from 8 am to 9 pm.
“All businesses of applying and renewal of passports currently operating at the Immigration office at the Yu Lan Plaza in Miri, and Marudi will be postponed from March 14 to 20 to facilitate the movement of equipment,” he told a media conference here, today.
Roy said, during the period, applications and renewals of passport could be done at the Bintulu immigration office or those close by while applications for visa and work permits were still available at Yu Lan Plaza. – Bernama
