MIRI: IBS College recently organised a workshop for teachers and staff of SMK Tatau, Bintulu.
According to a press release, a total of 100 participants attended the workshop on July 30 which was held in the conference room of SMK Tatau. IBS College chief executive officer and principal Dr Antony Hii facilitated the workshop. The workshop’s main objective was to motivate and strengthen the teachers’ soft management skills.
Among the topics discussed were challenges faced by teachers and staff in providing education while managing students at the same time.
The training was conducted under the college’s community services project to help the teachers to learn new management skills to fulfill their Training-In-Service (LDP) requirements.
At the end of the workshop, Dr Hii presented a certificate of achievement to the school.
IBS College offers Business and Finance programmes leading to certificate, diploma and degree qualifications with specialisations in Accounting and Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, International Business and Business Administration.
