I need help on sony experia x8

i would like to ask do anyone know how to change the setting in phone which like games from phone memory storage to SD card memory? :?:

The original Android Eclair 2.1 doesnt allowed that…

Use the application called Move2SD.
You may move the apps to Memory card…

Google up for more details.

root it.

just some of the games cannot be move to sd card, and instead of that the phone memory became lower… :frowning:

google it

i tot got froyo oredi or leaked gingerbread

you can’t move to SD…i own a xperia X8 too…and to actually move the file to your SD memory card you need at least 2.2 or 2.3 gingerbread.and so far xperia havent had 2.2 and 2.3 update still stuck at 2.1…but there is a way just that its risky i read it on the internet and it sounds really risky to do it…so just wait for the update…and your not the one who is suffering too…i also suffer from this!!!

Sony Ericsson will not Update the old model of androids…
Go alternative, buy a new and better phone or root it…

rooting your phone is to unleash the super power contained in your phone, why rooting?

Currently I’m using GingerDX Custom ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr … ?t=1188486
Got App2SD(You can move all your games and other apps to SDCard), JIT, Gesture, already built-in inside. I think this is the most stable Gingerbread for X8 at the moment.

Clean and latest CM7 Nightlies. Latest Gingerbread 2.3.5.
Fully working Camera
Minimal number of apps are installed.
Lightweight: maximum 99MB of free RAM.
My favorite modules: X8Gesture v007, X8Undervolt v001, X8MDDI v001, AX8 SMARTASS
The usual things with other ROMs: wifi / bluetooth / usb / sensors / 3d / video / fmradio / camera / rooted / jit / zipaligned / app2sd / …
Smooth. It IS as smooth as CM6 in 2D (menu scrolling/flinging…)
A-Theme Lite included.
WEP adhoc supported
Dual Recovery and reboot to xRecovery/CWM
CallMeLouder: Louder ringer when the phone is inside bags.
Improved Flipping down mutes ringer
Flipping down snoozes alarm
Disable LED notification in night
Back button ends call
Built-in Transparent Status Bar support
Hide avatar in SMS
Quick Copy / Quick Paste
View.measure() method caching for improved 2D performance
Custom carrier text
Built-in loop ringtone support without OGG editing
Optimized (“smoothened”) scrolling/flinging
Random Lockscreen
Sense Lockscreen / Boot sound / Ringtone / Live WallPaper
Smart dialer
Sleep button on Power Control widget
Configuration section (with localization for many languages)

Sounds great!
i wonder why the manufacturer original rom are always suck compared to homebrew part time developers which has no resources.

just the problem from rooting is… after rooting it i can’t online using broadband card… i only can use wifi~~ then the phone for me is nothing if cannot online using broadband card… i have been change to 2.2 android, but seen the broadband card can’t use after i put in the phone…
so i change back to 2.1 since it can connect me to my broadband card… :frowning:
but after changing it back, my memory space look to be full… but my sd card memory still have many… :frowning:

Did you setup the 3G manually? Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

Use the custom ROM that I mentioned earlier http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr … ?t=1188486. It’s the most stable. In Xrecovery, do the following before installing the ROM to prevent the problem.

  • Factory reset (Full Wipe)
  • Wipe Cache Partition
  • Under Advance Options: Wipe Dalvik Cache & Wipe Battery Stats

Then you can proceed to install the ROM. After finish installing, you have to setup the 3G Manually.
