How to check what DDR does my motherboard have?

I was planning to buy a graphic card but I have a problem with DDR thing.some of the graphic need DDR3 or DDR5.I’m kinda worried I buy a graphic card and install it,it won’t work.anybody can teach me how to check what DDR does my motherboard have?

GDDR is only used on graphics card and definitely work on your board, as long as your board have either AGP or PCI-e 14x slot.

Graphic card memory has nothing to do with the RAM you use with your PC. Even if your RAM is DDR2 but your graphic has a GDDR5 it should work fine.

Most important is that your graphic slot supports PCI-e, as well as have your power supply able to support the graphic card you plan to purchase.

motherboard ddr RAM does not factor in the graphics choice…

Download CPU-Z that can supply u with detailed info on your processor, motherboard and RAM.

Let us know the full spec of your system like Processor, motherboard, RAM,power supply etc etc after that…?

how to know about the AGP and PCI-e?

WOOO THAT WAS SO MANY REPLY!!! THANKS GUYS!!! REALLY THANK YOU!!! especially to whatman and eugene91 for helping me to explain all about computers.

I check in google I found out about AGP and PCI-e.I check my motherboard and I have PCI-e.thanks for the help again

Most important is what graphic card are you going to get? You have to know whether you need to upgrade your power supply as some graphic card require additional power source.

I’ve check the graphic card needing for what power supply and I check its more than enough.

r u planning to buy the GPU locally in miri or else where?

locally.
