Hippopotamus in Malaysia in danger of extinction

(paris) #1

News article in Borneo Post, never knew we have hippos in Malaysia, thought they were only to be found in the Nile river of Africa. Any wildlife enthusiast here can provide pictures of our Malaysian Hippos ?

This species weighs two to three tonnes and they love to live in forest areas with cool clime, especially shady places with swampy land, a pond, puddles of water or a river present.
In Pahang, there are 23 hippopotamus found in the Chini, Krau, Keratong and Rompin forests and the rest in the Belum forest in Perak and the National Park in Terengganu, Kelantan and Johor

Maybe hornless Rhinos ka

I didnt want to see anything to extinct (except for some trolls and arseholes) but just that if it is time for it to go then let it go gracefully, whether that extinct is cause by human or not. Human is mother nature creation and our nature happen to be destructive which is equal to that of super volcano or tsunami, etc…

Let me put it in another way, everything have cause and effect (or consequences) for eg: those that are impregnated after the even of 9/11 will not be here if 9/11 didn’t happen. And most of us alive today will not be here if Hitler & the Japs didn’t start the world war, and the human might not exist if the dinosaur did not extinct !
So if the hippo (or whatever) must go then let it go, surely mother nature have plan for something new to come up.
