Hacked!

help!! my window xp, is hacked by 1 ppl named haktowr… my computer wallpaper always changed to haktowr something automaticlly… can someone help me??

scan your pc with Malwarebytes antimalware and remove the malwares/trojans

if its still the same you nid to reformat. and remember to enable your firewall if its disabled. I think this is done through something u may have downloaded.

when u do the scanning…make sure u are offline…

Did you download from DVB-UPLOAD V.1.6C?

ok , are u using streamyx ?? can u give us more detail about the attack ?? are u sharing your internet connection with someone else ?

this is my opinion about u situation right now
first : try " sniffing " on your own network first … u can try searching for network sniffer and install it on your pc and sniff your ip address … there u can see whos been playing with u the whole time …
second: u cant try opening cmd and type netstat -n and list all the ip that u got and which is abnormally constantly established
third: do u have any remote assistant third party software like VNC ?
fourth: i think u should get nmap and scan your ports , maybe theres some that has been " compromised " ? who knows
and by using nmap u can scan the " hacker " ip address and report it to your isp and maybe u can hack em back hahaha
i think there are lots of root inside your pc thats why it was easy to compromise from the " inside " a.k.a musuh dalam selimut

btw i think no one is hacking u , maybe that was just simply a worm that has been scripted to change your wallpaper at certain times

HACK THE PLANET !!!

yup… they claimed hack just because their malware/worm/trojan/spyware have gone into your system.

If you’re a very computer literate user I suggest using Comodo Firewall

Reboot your computer and enter Safe Mode. Scan from there its the best way you can really get rid of viruses, malwares, bla bla.

it depends on the attack , if its a some sort of malware ,and if its already " infested " installing any 3rd party firewall wont solve it, for now, unless if the problem persist u should reformat and then install any firewall that is said to be good and reliable

but if ur computer is remotely illegally accesed, then its worth to try anything !

try tweaking the windows firewall a bit , and try to close any unused open ports

i just wished that its not root or rootware , thats it, still remember when i was still studying , my buddies and I , we coded a few root that register it self in the registry and system32 and attached it self to explorer.exe that behave like keylogger and monitor and we tested on lots of updated antivirus and non of em detected it , and that was 2 years ago !

even until today , especially windows xp, its not that safe anymore, u can remotely install real VNC using a few commands and well-built scripts and a few rootkits on the target pc … and then control their pc , funny but the feeling of " joke " at the other end is not well " received "

at the end , its all because of our ignorance and stupidity (porn site anyone ?)

I would not recommend installing the Antivirus. Just install the Firewall. The antivirus is the worst i’ve seen with the worst False Positives. Avira AntiVir Personal 9 would be better combo with Comodo Firewall
