We are looking for a talented candidate for the following position:
General Manager
Job Description:

Implement and foster a corporate philosophy developed by the MEO Group Chief Officers that clearly explain the relative priority within organisational aims of responsibility to; staff, customers, shareholders, community, environment (including the significance of morality and ethics within the organisational ethos);

Develop and maintain a risk management profile for the business;
-
Develop and maintain an appropriate internal control environment that compliments the risk management profile of the business;
-
Quarterly vessel and supply base visits to promote awareness of good corporate governance and build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

Execute the business plan developed by the MEO Group Chief Officers and provide a timely assessment on performance of the business against this;

Implement fiscal and operational objectives set by the MEO Group Chief Officers to mitigate business risks and uncertainties and provide a timely assessment on performance of the business against these objectives.

Implement new market customer and entry acquisition strategy, design and building of a service capability developed by the MEO Group Chief Officers;

Maintain financial sustainability during the development of new business opportunities; and
-
Implement service quality controls and customer questionnaires that provide direction for consolidation of the existing customer base and provide for referrals for new customers.

Ensure all direct reports have commensurate competency for their respective roles, in order, to develop a superior senior management group that will become a solid platform for business growth and promote a strong HSEQ culture within the business;

Set objectives and KPl’s for all departmental managers to help implement the fiscal and operational objectives of the MEO Group Chief Officers;

Ensure that existing business segments and new business opportunities have adequate resources to support implementation of strategies.

Responsible for active participation and performance to all Quality, Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety standards sponsored by the business;

Knowledge of policies and practices on Quality, Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety, and on diversity and equity;

Form part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as required;

Have an understanding of; ISO, ISM and ISPS.
Requirements: -
Minimum Degree in Maritime Transportation

Relevant operations and offshore industry experience
-
A working knowledge of the Malaysian and broader ASEAN offshore Oil & Gas vessel market

Ability to communicate, present and negotiate at all levels

Dynamic and visionary personal presence that influences and achieves collaborative partnerships and relationships

Clear strategic mindset with analytical focus

Effective leadership skills and the ability to motivate, provide direction and support staff to achieve organisational objectives.
