Hi, what have you done in your first week in college or university? For me its an eye-opening session, meeting seniors and coursemates, attending talks and introduction to the college. and i’m happy to know that my college have this kind of nice program: http://newinti.edu.my/e2eprogramme.html, so helpful for future employment 
hope i can find job before i graduate. i’m happy that its easy to mix up with people in my college and theres no divider of senior or junior. Maybe its just my luck to meet those nice coursemates and seniors

1st week…orientation?? my 1st week ah,i went to the class as usual and meet more friends.the most interetsing was washing my eye…haha…makes friends…
my college…have limited gals…ratio of 10:1
I miss the orientation week when I first step into mu college
as I am late comers and some more 4 weeks late than other student
but I did get to know new people over here
College had been a way and path to let us know more new friends and also gain more knowledge
First week is basically intro to own college and also touring around college
and don’t forget the prom night if your college did have one
orientation…hmmmm…basically just go around find new friends lo…

orientation … then i am those super ■■■■■■ kid … thats why in short period of time make lots of friends and the lecturer oso know me well. Always talk crap and i find people at other place lack of sense of humor when in Miri i talk jokes no one laugh but there people laugh…
my orientation was sucks…im in a group of all race in Msia…if feel wanna speak mandarin also cant…have to communicate in english…suffer!!!

pEi, sadly there’s no prom night in my college 
but luckily the first week was not boring at all hehe… same as lwlkh, i was in a group with all races but i think it’s good coz can practicee english more often mah.
I envy cofin can let ur lecturer knew u well in a short period… i even can’t remember my lecturers’ name yet, so lame :oops:
you should talk more in the class then lecturer will know bout u… mix around with more of your seniors to know more bout ur college as well as ur lecturer name n etc…

OMG!!! My lecturers like us to speal out what is in our mind. Before you talk,u have to know that lecturer’s teaching style and characteristics. If he/she is the type that dont like students to disrupt them when teaching then you know what to do. If the class is too quiet, you definitely have to talk or else,we will be very bored in the class…*sUBJECT TO RULES AND REGULATIONS!!!
haha my class which I went to since secondary scholl till now college sure have bunch of monkeys
and what a coincidence I am their class monitor
even sometimes they are some sort too noisy but they keep the class livelier
being active in class not only attract lecturer n tutor attentions then you will get to know your lecs better and get them as your referee in future!!

i agree tht we shld be aware of the lecturer’s teaching style and characteristics. some dislike ppl talk and some welcome that. so far the lecturers in my college are those welcome us to talk one. and what i like is their effort to make sure everyone of us in the class really understand the lecture lo. appreciate this la but i’m still shy to ask question and talk, coward haha…
