FIC signs MoU with TM TEC Academy

MIRI: Fajar International College (FIC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TM TEC Academy (M) Sdn Bhd yesterday.

Under the agreement, FIC and TM TEC Academy will collaborate closely in occupational safety and health training programmes, TM TEC Academy will promote FIC’s academic programmes and TM TEC Academy will provide opportunities for FIC graduates to conduct practical training in the company.

FIC was represented by CEO Dr Peter Tham, while TM TEC Academy was represented by TM TEC Academy managing director Richard Song.

The college is registered and recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and all its programmes have full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Its Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (DipOSH) is the only such programme approved by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (Dosh) and is also recognised by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Iosh) United Kingdom.

TM TEC Academy has facilities in Kuching, Sibu, Tanjung Manis and Miri for training related to port and shipping for equipment operators, stevedores, riggers, slingers, and welders.
