Evening Civil Twilights

An evening in Miri…for more images…http://www.flickr.com/photos/niceguyz99 … 728201775/

very nice & sharp bro …

just a beginners shot…anyway thanks bro…MIRI boleh ma hehe…

Nice to share…

Tips: When taking pictures with the horizon showing, make sure it’s level.

thanks for the tips bro…really appreciate it …

you have it on tripod? cos feel like the right side goes slightly down when you press the shutter making the horizon moved a little  its a nice shot btw

yeah tripod… maybe the ground not level i guess…coz i used a remote though…anyway thanks bro…peace…

a friendly tip…not too much on the sky…it will make it seem uneven and not sure whether you want to show the city or just the sky…or in the middle…so to bring in nice effect better on both…not too much of the sky and not too much on the ground…

tip on the tripod…use timer is better…usually people use timer for it…

cool…i have no idea abt the timer jack…heheh…ok will look out for it …thanks jack…

i viewed some of your pics there…very nice just that some too dark…should consider to get an external flash and adjust the colour of the pic… it will help much better…

thanks jack…but it was intentionally taken dark…just trying to to be different…anyway will try follow ur advise…n c wat happens …cool …

Come on dude… no flash can be used here… it will only get darker as the flash will not reach out… if you are saying about fill flash, nope it wont work either as no close subject…

Slow shutter speed and manage your exposure should be a good start…

oic …thanks bro for the input…peace…

hey, mate. You can use “ruler tool” in photoshop to adjust the horizontal line. For composition, you can try to shoot landscape in portrait size too to balance the details of the sky and buildings… anyway, that’s just my opinion.

oic…tq v much bro…very good input … now im gonna look for photoshop…where 2 get ha…?

select the ruler tool (just press ‘i’ on the keyboard), drag from left to right on the horizontal line like this:

Go to Image - Rotate Canvas - Arbitrary and press ok. It would look like this:

A very dramatic sky here, mate. This time, the line is 100% horizontal.
