MARUDI: It was an enriching experience for 25 Dewanita members during their recent educational trip to Lawas and Brunei.
Dewanita is the women’s section of Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Chamber(DUBS).
Facilitating the Brunei programme were Women’s Business Council of Brunei Darussalam president Datin Paduka Rokiah Zakiah and the council’s deputy president I, Mordiah Jackia.
The Lawas programme was jointly conducted by the Bukit Sari branch of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women, Councillor Aisyah Bahar and the Lawas branch of Sarawak Federation of Women Institutes (SFWI)

“We took part in the ‘Brunei Bazaar’ at The Rizqun Hotel Brunei together with Datin Paduka Rokiah and fellow women entrepreneurs from Brunei.
“In Lawas, we attended a seminar on entrepreneurship, which was conducted by Juita Drap, as well as Kek Lapis Sarawak classes run by Rabiah Amit and Meriam Aren,” Mujan, who is also Dewanita Marudi chief, told The Borneo Post here.
