Eugene91, its okay, they just lack understanding. Maybe they are young. You won’t hear someone at the age of 30 talking like that.

Its not about the speech Zhengzx, its about the content. Do you want people to judge you by your looks and your voice or by what you know and how you behave? lol…

Make the long become short… vote BN out of Malaysia Government not matter federal or state.

robbery, protection fees and thef la bro. Pujut still have lots of illegal immigrant with squarter here and there. I see police car stopping them and no action. I think asking for protection money. So bro you think with all the robbery and thef you rated Miri is peaceful ? Ok la fair enough if this is your expectation. I wonder if you work for the black uniform also ?

If I say our police is the most corrupt and ring leader, I dont see many people disagree with me. i see police in Pubs and Karaoke act like big brother. I hear Bukit aman looking for free service and etc.

I pity for those who worked properly and being labelled as corrupt just because of a few police seen in pubs and karaokes…

You think they ask for protection money? Stopping them and no action? So you even checked whether they have their documents on them or not?

You hear Bukit Aman people looking for free service as well? Please inform Bakri Zinin Director of CID( http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001689755619 ) im sure he would be happy to investigate.

If Taib take a simple ride from Bekenu to Lapok, I’ll vote for him…LOL [/quote]

If he Ride bicycle from Tanjung Lobang to Esplanade beach…
i vote him…

I agree with you on your last post, you do stand for something. You stand for something that you don’t really understand. You complain about robbery and thievery? By statistics, the crime rate in our state has dropped so much in the last 5 years. When was the last time you hear about bank robbery or snatch thieves in Miri? House break-ins have reduced so much. What illegal immigrants are you talking about? Please make it clear and location because the immigration people will want to look into this. I hope you will confirm the location. And it is not fair for you to claim our police to be corrupt as many of them are actually doing their job diligently.

You see the problem with people like you is that you like to criticise and insult too much, sometimes overlooking other factors, unknowingly (or maybe you don’t care) hurting the reputation and credibility of the people who do not fall under such branding and false allegations. I think there is a word for people like you on the internet - a TROLL

@Faelane
Loud and Clear =D

To be fair, not all the police are bad and corrupt. They are good ones too and i personally know some of them. However, you can’t blame the public for having a negative perception of the force especially with negative publicity like the news below.

Cops ticked off for nabbing lawyer, volunteers
Oct 11, 10 7:16pm
The Bar Council today strongly criticised the police for detaining four of its volunteers, and for not adhering to procedures when they nabbed the four.

Ironically, the volunteers were picked up in Bukit Jalil yesterday - for distributing information on what to do when stopped, questioned, detained or arrested by police.

“The police harassed the volunteers, comprising a lawyer, a lawyer-to-be and two chambering students, claiming that the Bar Council pamphlet… was “illegal” and “anti-police”,” council vice-president Lim Chee Wee (left) said.

The pamphlet, entitled “Police and Your Basic Rights” was distributed at Bukit Jalil, the Sogo complex, Bintang Walk and Masjid Jamek as part of National Law Awareness Week, which begins today.

The volunteers were detained at the Sungai Besi district police headquarters for about three hours and were released without any charge against them.

No statement was taken from them either, and all the pamphlets that were confiscated were returned.
Law Minister launched pamphlet

“Although they stated that the Bar Council Legal Aid Centre Kuala Lumpur volunteers were not under arrest, police refused to return the volunteers’ identity cards (which they had requested) and instead compelled the volunteers to follow them to the police station, where a police report was lodged against them,” said Lim.

Interestingly, the pamphlet was launched by de-facto Law Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz twice, in 2006 and 2009.

"At the 2006 event, the minister himself assisted in distributing the booklets to members of the public immediately after the launch.

“In 2009, in addition to expressing his support for the publication, Nazri stated that citizens were entitled to their rights and the police must adhere to standard operating procedures,” said Lim.

Yeah saw this last night… sadly… don’t know who tipped them off with information that those pamphlet were illegal and anti-police…

This election will be an eye opener for some. Some of us will switch sides and some of us will stay. Miri SUPP has done well although I feel still alot more can be done. But I will never vote for Dr Teo. Any other that stand in Miri, I will be ok.

The police could have at least check and read those pamphlets before making any arrest. Their action is akin to “shoot first, ask question later”. They are giving the public an impression that they do not want the public to know their rights when dealing with the police. Furthermore, the least they could do is apologize for wrongful arrest.
