Election is coming who to vote for?

MIRI, Tuesday 28 September 2010 (Bernama) – The Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery will adopt a new strategy in the next state election, Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) president Tan Sri Dr George Chan said.

He said all those involved in the machinery had been conditioned well to execute the strategy and to counter the opposition’s tactics in the election, which is due anytime between now and July next year.

“(The strategy is) very much different (from that of the past elections). They (the election machinery) are very well-prepared this time,” he told reporters after a closed-door meeting with some 300 members of the state BN component parties here.

Other than the SUPP, the state BN also comprises Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) and Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).

In the last state election in 2006, PBB won 34 of the 71 seats, SUPP 11, PRS nine and SPDP eight…

Dr Chan, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister anticipated that the opposition would resort to demonising state leaders in their bid to win votes.

He said the state BN was prepared for these onslaughts and had tuned its machinery to counter allegations made by the oppositions.

“They cannot take on the management of the government as Sarawak government is among the best managed governments,” he said.

On the closed-door meeting, he said the participants were those playing important role in running the BN machinery.

“I have told them that we cannot afford to lose in this election just because our machinery is not good enough and unable to counter whatever the opposition is putting up,” he added.

I want to vote BN Kalah’ Almighty Allah, God, Hindu God, Buddha, Iban God and etc please make them lose badly

definitely not the ■■■■■■■ Taib-the-Blackhole!!!

for those who might be unaware, he just issued the permit to his relative for timber logging that earned him RM 230 million into his pocket by expel 16 families of our fellow Iban Natives who live in the area for generations with compensation of mere lump sum of RM 4000 for the 16 families!!!

here’s the link in mandarin: http://malaysiakini.com/news/143757

“I’ll not step down as long as the POEPLE here in Sarawak need my service”: said Taib

censored you la!! As far as I can remember, I dun recall anyone I know needs your censored service la!!
I guess the people that you are referring is the Agong on the Paper only!!!

Do you actually know people vote not by looking at the party? Instead by looking at the person? That’s how Sibu DAP won their election because the candidate is a very friendly person unlike the BN candidate.
In Miri I believe Andy Chia, George Chan, Lee Kim Shin and Aidan Wing seems to be okay as well,

Unlike our Taman Tunku/Lambir/Sibuti Area BN candidate I don’t even remember his name!..

waulau… u still ask who to vote… hmmmmm…

read this…viewtopic.php?f=1&t=31957 and hopefully it will give u answer…

But we know we don’t want Taib anymore…

Yes, but still I dunno where the HELL did he find out THERE are people still needing him… I bet only those cronies who are related to him…
while all the other people are NOT his people so that’s why he won’t step down… cos HIS people still need him… jeez

We should exercise our rights as voters, that’s what EC always says but I think as voters we have a duty to ensure that the parliament and state assembly should not be over-grossly controlled by a single party, otherwise there’s no check and balance.

Sadly enough, Sarawak has too many simple minded ppl. When given a mere RM 50, you can buy their votes. Not far-sighted. RM 50 for every 5 years ??? that’s pathetic. A good governance would ensure the people’s income per capita is adequate.

So, exercise your rights and know your responsibilities too.

I aint pro-opposition. I would say the same thing even if pakatan is the government.

Taib will go to the rural area and win the election

If Taib take a simple ride from Bekenu to Lapok, I’ll vote for him…LOL

I would love to see TAIB being arrested and prison together with his whole family in jail for the rest of their life :frowning:
