MIRI: A villager was found dead inside a river at Kpg Sawai, deep in interior Daro district.
Maznah Moh, 39, was found with bite marks, believed to be that of a crocodile, said Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department in its updates.
It said Bomba received an alert for help at about 12 noon just now (Oct 17), after the woman went missing while fishing in the river.
The villagers in her kampung said she went missing in the river at about 9am.
At about 1.30pm just now, villagers found her body in the river.
The police have been alerted about the case.
